Celebrating LOVE through painting, done from a photograph taken at the wedding. My paintings are vibrant and painterly, with an elegant touch they realistically depict the selected by the bride and groom part of their wedding day - first kiss, walking down the aisle, first dance etc.

1.
Strike a Pose
I arrive earlier at the venue and start painting the pre-selected background. Once this is done, a photograph the bride and the groom in a pose of their choice is taken and the figures are added onto the painting. There could be different scenarios depending on the arrangement with the couple and the wedding planner. The image is taken with my personal iPhone and deleted straight after the painting is finalised.
2.
Portrait making
I paint with acrylic on stretched canvas (sizes available below) in a specifically allocated by the wedding planner area, where the easel and art materials are positioned. I start working on the painting on site for the duration of the booking and I finish it in the studio as touch ups and varnish are usually needed.
Canvas sizes : 18x24 inch (45.72cm x 60.96cm) and smaller.
3.
Art handing over
The painting usually needs touch ups (details on the faces and clothes), and also has to be varnished. This is done in the studio and shipped to the couple upon completion.

Usually up to five business days after the wedding day. I start the painting on site for the duration of the booking and finish it in the studio so that details are added and the painting gets varnished. Then it is shipped to the couple.

No they don’t, as the painting usually requires touch ups ( details on the faces, or clothes) and varnish. This needs to be safely done at the studio and shipped to the couple.
